TROY DEMS MEETING WITH CITY MANAGER SZERLAG, starting at 7 p.m.  

The Troy Democratic Club is hosting City Manager John Szerlag, Wednesday, October 21, at the Troy Community Center, Room 305, from 7-9 p.m. John will be talking about Troy 's 6-Year Budget Plan. He will be continuing his discussion of several options that would severely affect the operation of the 2nd most visited public library in Michigan, the 5th most visited Historical Museum in Michigan, the vibrant Community Center, most Parks & Rec programs, the Nature Center, plus other services, and would also affect many other quality of life features of this wonderful city. 

Mr. Szerlag has said “Now it is up to the community to decide how they want to define themselves...A city has to decide what they want their city to look like...The community has to decide what values they want…”  

We are inviting all TDC members, friends, neighbors, etc. to attend this important discussion. We need you to get involved to appreciate the seriousness of the probability of losing some of our great City Services. 

The three candidates that the Troy Leadership Coalition supports-- Maureen McGinnis, Will Molnar and Dane Slater, will be attending the meeting. There will be discussion of the November 3 election.
