County Commissioner Tim Burns
Clawson's 4th of July Parade is the official kick-off to my 2010 re-election campaign for Oakland County Commissioner. I am in need of volunteers to help me out during the event starting at 8 am on Monday, July 5. We will be meeting at Clawson Center (SE corner of 14 Mile and Crooks Roads).
Please consider making a donation to assist us with this year's campaign expenses. Having spent the last decade of my career working to prevent consumer fraud and promote an ethical marketplace on a non-profit organization salary, I don't have the financial resources to fund this campaign on my own. Please consider making a donation of $20, $50, or $100 dollars to help us with our campaign expenses.
Checks should be made payable to "Committee to Re-Elect Tim Burns" and sent to P.O. Box 1202, Troy MI 48099.
As County Commissioner my top priorities are:
+ Balanced budgets that continue to provide quality services without raising taxes or deficit spending;
+ Protecting Property Values by promoting private sector economic development projects and curbing sprawl;
+ Creating jobs by assisting our automotive base in diversifying their services and recruiting growing industries with high-paying jobs to the area.
Thank you for your past and continued support and friendship
Congressman Gary Peters
The 2010 election campaign for Michigan's 9th Congressional District is geared up and we need your help!
