The Clawson Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its fifth annual CLAWS & PAWS Dog Jog which combines a 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk with a Pet Care Fair & Animal Adoption. Runners, animal lovers, and children are all welcome to attend this family-friendly event on the morning of Saturday, May 22 at Clawson City Park which is located the intersection of Elmwood and Custer streets. This year's event co-chairs are Oakland County Commissioner Tim Burns and Clawson City Clerk Machele Kukuk.
Registration for the Dog Jog begins at 9 am with a $25 entry fee (includes commemorative t-shirt and pet bandana while supplies last). Proceeds support the animal welfare charity Guardians for Animals and the Chamber of Commerce. Fun Run/Walk begins @ 10 am. Admission to the pet care fair which begins at the conclusion of the dog jog is free to both participants and the public.
